Lesson from the Master

Dad came this weekend and gave Jared (and me) a lesson on how to wash a car. He brought all the supplies we needed and then showed us how to use each one. It was fun but exhausting! We were having a hard time keeping up. I have to say our cars both look fabulous!!

Milly's Mole

Look what Milly caught in the backyard yesterday! Jamey found Milly playing with this little guy in the yard. He didn't have the heart to kill it so he "relocated" the mole to a nearby park. And just so you get the perspective, the mole is in a Cool Whip size container. As you can see, he's pretty small, but Jamey said he was very fiesty.

Duke Scholar

Here's to a Duke Scholar! We got the results of Abby's 7th grade SAT scores and they were awesome!! As a result, she was chosen as a Duke Scholar by Duke University.

The Lazy Mom's Easter Baskets for Teenagers

The quality of Easter baskets at our house has hit a new low this year. Please note that,although you can't really see it in the pictures, I did use a sharpie to draw an Easter egg on each ziploc bag. It should also be noted that the Easter Bunny paid $10 of a Ranger tshirt for Jared and that is why he doesn't have an iTunes gift card.


Maybe I should open my own business making and selling Easter baskets for teenagers?
